We are a family that loves road trips and seeing new things… Ok, the truth is I love road trips, and my children unenthusiastically get into the car while I take them on a road trip, but we can’t all be perfect.
A few people have asked me for a copy of my road trip itineraries so my wife came up with the idea to create a website.
On top of that, I began collecting shot glasses from our road trips and vacations a few years ago. I buy a shot glass from each state that I drive into, tourist attractions, and from cities that are important to me.
I created rules for my shot glass collection;
- I can only buy a shot glass from a state that I was in, either via driving, walking, or flying into.
- The only exception to this rule is Alaska and Hawaii, since I will probably never get there. They are in the back of my shelf, so no one thinks I was actually there.
- I am very specific on which state shot glass I will buy… or try to by. It needs to have a map of the state on the shot glass, preferably with city names on the map.
